Notes
- a Host nation France was awarded twelve quota places in all individual shooting events for the Games. Six French shooters (Bessaguet, Cormenier, Jedrzejewski, Guerrero, Kryzs, and Muller) attained a direct nomination to the Olympic team based on their performances at the European and World Championships, thereby leaving the vacancies unused for reallocation to the next highest-ranked shooter through the ISSF World Olympic Rankings.[1]
