Song Lingdong (Chinese: 宋令东; born August 1990) is a Chinese People's Liberation Army Astronaut Corps (PLAAC) taikonaut selected as part of the Shenzhou program.

Biography

Song was born in Heze, Shandong, in August 1990.[1] In 2007, he enrolled at Air Force Aviation University. He enlisted in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in September 2008, and joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in March 2013.[1] Song was an air force pilot. On 29 October 2024, Cai Xuzhe, Song Lingdong and Wang Haoze were assigned to the Shenzhou 19 crewed spaceflight mission.[2]
