Ushongo is a Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is Lessel town, Ushongo Local government Area of Benue State. It has an area of 1,228 km2 (474 sq mi) and a population of 188,341 at the 2006 census. Ushongo's Local Government postal code is 982.[1]
