The 1864 Illinois lieutenant gubernatorial election was held on 8 November 1864 in order to elect the lieutenant governor of Illinois. Republican nominee William Bross defeated Democratic nominee Solomon Corning Judd.

General election

On election day, 8 November 1864, Republican nominee William Bross won the election by a margin of 30,598 votes against his opponent Democratic nominee Solomon Corning Judd, thereby retaining Republican control over the office of lieutenant governor. Bross was sworn in as the 16th lieutenant governor of Illinois on 3 January 1865.[1]
