The men's 200 metre butterfly competition at the 2006 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships took place on August 17 at the Saanich Commonwealth Place.[1][2][3] The previous champion was Tom Malchow of US.[4] This race consisted of four lengths of the pool, all lengths being in butterfly stroke.[5]
